Dr. Lenny Peters is the founder and CEO of Peters Development, LLC A Board Certified Gastroenterologist and father of four, Dr. Lenny Peters has grown to serve the Triad community. After completing training in India, London, Pittsburgh, and at Wake Forest University, Dr. Lenny Peters settled in High Point, NC. Although a doctor by training, he was drawn to business, specifically real estate and banking. To this end, he is one of the founders of Bank of North Carolina and he has formed many business ventures including Peters Development, Bethany Medical Center (a large multi-specialty medical group), and Peters Medical Research. His interest in real estate began over 30 years ago. Since that time, he has invested in commercial and residential properties across North Carolina totaling $50 million in transactions.

Elise Peters Carey
President
Elise Peters Carey is the President of Peters Development. Prior to joining Kerala Capital, she held various strategic planning and finance positions at American Express and Capital One. She began her career consulting financial institutions on market data, treasury services, and capital management.
Elise holds an MBA and BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dan Hill
Vice President & Director of Real Estate
Dan Hill is the Vice President and Director of Real Estate of Peters Development. A licensed North Carolina attorney and real estate broker, Dan is uniquely equipped to handle all matters involving the acquisition and disposition of commercial property. Dan has over a decade of real estate experience within the legal and commercial brokerage communities. Prior to joining Peters Development, he worked in Winston-Salem as an attorney at the law firm of Robinson & Lawing, LLP, where he assisted property owners and investors in contract negotiations and disputes. Following his time at Robinson & Lawing, Dan worked as a commercial real estate broker at Linville Team Partners, focusing on investment sales. A native of the Piedmont Triad, Dan holds a JD from Wake Forest University School of Law, a Masters in Tax Accounting from UNC-Charlotte and a BA in Accounting from Furman University. Dan is a licensed real estate broker in NC and SC and is licensed to practice law in NC.
